Areas of interest

I am a lecturer in the Division of Midwifery at the University of Leeds. Half my time is dedicated to education, whilst the other half to research. I spent 12 years working in the NHS, and the last 7 in maternity services research. I have just completed my PhD which assessed the quality of the maternity services from the perspectives of Pakistani and indigenous white women. My ongoing research is evaluating a lay postnatal listening service for Pakistani, Bengali and Chinese women with Jo Green at the Mother and Infant Research Unit, University of Leeds.
